Nobody by Wonder Girls

2008. 10. 13

Oh is hooked on this song, "Nobody" by Wonder Girls. They are a group made of 5 high school and college girls and have been beloved by middle age Korean men since last summe when their "Tell Me" struck the entire nation. This song has been played at the gmy that Oh works out. Thus, Oh unavoindingly finds himself humming and even murmuring this song. If you lived in Korea, you probably would hear this song a lot blasting from street vendors boombox or stores on the street.

While surfing on the web, he located this video clip where this white boy is emulating the choregraphy of "Nobody" and he just nailed it. So, kindly enough, here is the video segemtn of that white boy's performance and the original one by Wonder Girls. Oh hopes you get a lot of kick out of it. :)

Did you savor them? One phenonemon that he finds pleasing is that so called 'Korean Flow" is all the rage in many countries such as Japan and some nations in South East Asian. Also, the Korean Flow has permeated North America as well and thus it is not uncommon for web users to run into youtube video segments where Americans or Canadians mimicking some of Korean boybands' choreography.

Then the question remains; what is so appealing about us? Tanned skin, dark-brown eyes and hair are what is so attractive about us? Or is it that we are simply different from the West?
